Tinting, Henna & Eyelash Lifts

BBARE Tinting Services

Our tinting process enhances, shapes, and defines your eyebrows, (or adds darkness to eyelashes) by applying a high quality, semi-permanent dye to the fine hairs. Tinting can last up to a few days on the skin, and up to a month on the hair.

We suggest you avoid scrubbing and the use of oils with tinting as this can remove the colour sooner. Colours vary from light brown to black for brows, and can be custom mixed.

Tint stains the hair mostly, tint won't always stain the skin.

We offer black/blue for lash tinting, as this makes that lashes a lustre black, and pops against eye colour better. 

BBARE Henna Services

Unlike tinting which dyes the actual hair, Henna brows are a form of tinting that can be used to stain the skin beneath the eyebrow hairs.

The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness.

Henna is a plant-based product, and has a warmer undertone. Exfoliate your brows before treatment to ensure the henna sticks to the skin as well. If exfoliation isn't done, this can leave the henna to look patchy on the skin, or may tint the skin at all.

Avoid scrubbing and oils as this can remove colour sooner.

BBARE Eyelash Lifts

Eyelash lifts are fairly new to the industry and we're excited to offer them at BBare Beauty Bar. This amazing service permanently curls your natural existing eyelashes eliminating the need for extensions or fake lashes.

Lash lifting acts like a perm that uses silicone shields based off your lash length and a series of cream-based products to curl natural eyelashes—eliminating the need for eyelash curlers.

Avoid scrubbing, and oils, as this can relax the lashes sooner. Wet lashes in the morning and brush them, especially if you are a face sleeper.

Lash lifts last up to 6 weeks.

The hairs naturally relax over time, which eliminates an obvious look as the lift relaxes. 

BBARE Lamination Services

Brow Lamination creates full and fluffy look to brows, by restructuring brow hair's disulfide bonds and redirecting brow hairs upwards. This is a similar process as a perm. We always include a brow tint with a lamination service.

The formula used is sodium bromate free. It also contains liquid keratin, which creates a protective film that helps encourage brow growth.

The lamination effect will last until the brow hair naturally falls out. On average this happens every 4-6 weeks. Brow lamination should be done every 8-10 weeks, this ensures the hair is able to complete it's growth cycle. 

Every time your brows get wet, they will appear disheveled. You will need to brush them regularly. Brow gel is recommended to hold brows in place throughout the day.

After care: Do not get brows wet for 24hrs. Brush daily
