We believe that soft wax is not only the better option for Brazilian waxing, but it's also the ideal option:

About Our Soft Wax Brazilians

We believe that client education is extremely important when it comes to which products you put on your body, but it's also important outlining why we use the products we use in our clinic.

BBare is different from other beauty bars because we use soft wax instead of hard wax for our Brazilian waxes, which is a more common. We find soft wax is easier to use for Brazilian waxes and removes fine hairs, where hard wax doesn't. 

Why is that? Unlike traditional bikini waxing, where the hair on the sides and tops are removed, with Brazilian waxing, everything is taken off from the labia to the rear. This area in particular is extra sensitive for one reason: the hair is extra coarse because it grows in different directions, making soft wax more effective and less painful for our clients.

Meet Master Monica

Monica is the owner, Master waxologist, and laser technician at BBare Beauty Bar. She graduated from Pebec School of Medical Aesthetics in 1999 and became an entrepreneur when she owned a hair salon and spa, Amara Health & Beauty Spa for 13 years. She then became a mompreneur when she opened BBare Beauty Bar in 2013 just after having her son, and moved to their Pinebush location in January 2018.

Hair removal is therapeutic for Monica. Knowing someone is getting closer each visit to being hair free, and giving people their confidence back, gives Monica her pride of accomplishment. She always has her eye on new technics, services, and devices in the hair removal world. You are in safe hands for your first Brazilian or your 100^th Brazilian when you’re with Monica. Monica was the first esthetician and wax bar to do Brazilians in the Cambridge area; she has been doing Brazilian waxes since the early 2000s.  Monica gives brows life; you will always leave with a smile and a killer pair of brows.
