3. Wear Loose Clothing:

• Opt for loose-fitting, breathable clothing to minimize friction and allow your skin to breathe. Tight clothing can trap sweat and bacteria against your skin, leading to irritation.

4. No Sun Exposure:

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or any UV exposure on the waxed area for at least 48 hours. Waxing can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, increasing the risk of sunburn or hyperpigmentation.

5. Avoid Swimming:

• Refrain from swimming in chlorinated pools, hot tubs, or the ocean for 24 to 48 hours. These environments can be harsh on freshly waxed skin and may cause irritation or infection.

Her training laid the foundation for what would become an illustrious career in the industry. While attending school, Monica honed her skills working part-time at Amara Health & Beauty Spa. Her exceptional talent and commitment quickly led to her becoming the owner in 2001, where she successfully managed a thriving salon with a team of over ten professionals.

A Pioneer and Educator in Cambridge’s Beauty Scene; Monica’s contributions to Cambridge’s beauty landscape are unparalleled.
